St Patricks Head
On Sunday the 23rd of April, Amy, Stuart, and I set out to climb St Patricks Head near St Marys. From the car park at the end of St Patricks Head Road, it took us 2 hours and 18 minutes return, including morning tea on the summit (actual walking time was just under two hours).
The Track
From the car park, the track immediately heads upwards, and the incline continues for the entirety of the walk.
Initially the track goes through a small section of bushland, before opening into paddocks and then returning to bush. Once back in the bush there are some steeper sections to navigate.
Closer to the summit the track was less clear, but after a bit of searching we found our way to the trig point, which required a bit of scrambling, and resulted in some amazing views.
